This was developed by the famous Scientist Becklend and nowadays the plastic that is been used daily is called synthetic plastic. This plastic is made by using various chemicals. In 1990 Becklend got the responsibility to make the insulator that is used in electricity.

Before that Selek was used in place of insulator. This product used to make by filtering the elements that is left in the tree by the insect. After the electricity company got popular the demand of it was increased. But with the demand the supply was being hard so the alternative of this was required. So searching the alternative Becklend made this synthetic plastic. He didn’t invented it easily. For this he along with his team started research from 1904 and in 3 years he used various products and he got failed many times but he didn’t lose hope. He continued his journey and he invented his elements that he wanted. He named it as bake-light and he used many temperature and did test and at last he was succeed to make the synthetic plastic.

Before publishing his invention he gave application for Potent, until getting potent he thought to keep his invention secret. After 2 years of invention on 1909 he published his invention on American Chemical society New York. His invention got popular after it. The world famous newspaper Times published a news on him on 1924 and on that Becklend told that in some years his invention will be used by most of the companies around the world. On 1946 he was d*ead but on that time too around 4 lakh ton plastic were produced. Plastic was used before he invented but those were made without the use of chemicals.

That plastic without chemicals was developed by Alexander Park from England. He published it on that same year at The great International Exhibition at London. He invented this 45 years before Becklend so the first inventor is given to Alexander.
